Junk is More Than Just Trash Thrown Out Every day!

Many kids take a lot of time in just getting ready and eating breakfast, how much can a single person put up with in the morning! So the easiest way to feed the kid at school gives them cash for the canteen as a bribe. Gets them ready and sends them off the school in time. No worries of them staying hungry and bringing back full lunchboxes. The main healthcare is lost in this process.

The finely refined salt present in the fries from the junk food salivation and secretion of enzymes. This increases your cravings. The bad fats and sodium combined through this cause the blood pressure to rise affecting the kidneys.

As discussed before the bad fat or the trans-fat is present in junk food. This causes deposition in the liver, causing liver dysfunction.

Eating junk food causes stress to your otherwise healthy metabolism. This affects the insulin being produced in the body.
9) Junk food increases your chances of getting cancer
High level of fat and sugar in junk food causes you higher chances of developing colorectal cancer. It has also been found that men who consume junk food more than twice a month are more likely to develop prostate cancer
10) Junk food causes fatigue
Junk food at the end of the day fills junk in your body. The missing healthy nutrients make you feel fatigued.
The Government of Sindh has Finally Acted
So finally the government has done more than take notice. It has banned all junk food from educational institutes so you can actually make use of the education you are getting. Especially in schools with young children.
“The Sindh Food Authority (SFA) has imposed a ban on certain food items including carbonated drinks and snacks/chips at canteens across schools and colleges of the province.”
Sorry moms! You all need to figure something out and give healthier lunch boxes and make sure your kids consume them. We need the future of our country to be healthy and not on wheelchairs or carrying insulin. Healthcare in Pakistan is mainly in the hands of all you mothers. So do not take it lightly.
